I started a long term subbing job and we found a daycare for the girls that we hope they do well with a new person and environment. We can't help but worry about them but its a new start up daycare so there aren't many kids there and the lady in charge has a lot of experience. I am subbing in a middle school math position and have 6 classes with 8th and 9th graders. I've had a week to get settled and make small changes and now I feel like I've caught up on getting grades and set up for the next week where I can make things a little easier on myself. The teacher that moved away left a lot of instructions which was very helpful, but it is the end of the 1st quarter in the school and there is always make up work the students want to turn in and retake tests. There is a lot to do but after a week I finally feel like I know what is going on and have been able to help several students get their grades up.Claire

She is becoming such a beautiful girl and is so spunky as always! I love that she can communicate more and tries more words as we work with her to learn them, we like to read and point out the words of things we see. She is still a little picky when eating but wants Shay's food when I'm feeding her so we are sneaking veggies that way. She has a really fun laugh when she is getting her way and is getting really good at asking please even though thank you and sorry is still a struggle. She has really noticed when she poops and has started to tell us so when we ask if she wants to poop she gets excited about going to sit on the toilet like us. She hasn't yet went potty but we praise her for sitting there and hopefully that will soon turn into her using the toilet!

This little stinker is being so cute sometimes and is starting to giggle for no reason and little things especially when she sees herself in the mirror. She is now at a point that I'm okay with her taking a bath with Claire so they get to play with the bath toys and have fun. Claire only likes sharing certain toys with her and she just chews on whatever she is holding while I wash them. I can't wait to see how well they play together as they grow, I know there will be hard times, but I hope they love each other so much it doesn't matter.Fondue

If you have ever heard of the Melting Pot, you know that it is pretty awesome and I got to go for the second time in my life. I took my friend out for her birthday because it was a place that had a open reservation on a Saturday Night in Salt Lake City. It has been a few years since I've been to the one in St. Louis but it was very similar and so delicious! I now want to learn some fondue recipes and will probably find myself craving the desert we had that was a flaming caramel chocolate delicious creation!
